Would it be appropriate to email my recruiter from firm one that they are my preference but I’m far along in the process at firm two and ask for an update on where I stand (to hopefully get an offer faster)? I’m scared I’ll end up being alone. I’ve truly enjoyed being single all this time but as time passes by, I keep thinking to myself that something must be wrong with me that I’m not in a relationship. I also don’t feel confident being on dating apps since I gained weight during the pandemic (about 30 lbs). want to interview at MBB again. Last year i had started the process but had to stop the process due to severe family emergency. What followed was depression and im doing fairly better now. I am Leaving Big 4 to join a tech focused Bank. But i feel like I should reach out to recruiter and start the process again. Just not sure if it’s the right move since im joining a new company.
