Hello Fishes, can anyone please confirm if any further interview round happens in Larsen & Toubro Infotech post HR asking urgent needed documents and HR discussion (for Specialist - Data Engineering position) ?

Docs provided, HR discussion happened and now they telling anothr client round is there? And I'm confused if it isn't the stage where they should release offer letter?

I’m inheriting a “team” of siloed strong individual developers who are on different work streams and are very jaded and struggling with motivation. Most are contractors. They have legit gripes about the client, but I won’t be able to solve those without getting cross-discussions going with knowledge-sharing across our “team“. Any suggestions for remote team-building that won’t just be shrugged off with cynicism, or worse, ignored?

My remit quadrupled+ in a recent re-org with no increase in pay/promotion, my new director is new to the company and was zero help, and I was passed over for recent promotion during the comp cycle. The new director essentially began shutting me down any time I ask for clarity in my career progression. Now they have taken credit for the project I’ve been building over the past year+ without giving me props whatsoever to higher ups. What is the best plan of action here?

I moved to USA in 2017 on F1 visa. I was not selected for H1-B in the 3 years of my OPT. While my company is transferring me to Canada and can potentially get me back on L1 visa, the shifting situation is stressing me out. The thought of moving to another country in a couple of months is causing a lot of anxiety and tough luck with the lottery is making me feel depressed.

My American citizen 8 month old is on tourist visa in India; current stay runs out on June 7. Flying outside the country is a risk we don’t want to take w/COVID. Don’t want to overstay the visa either. So we applied online on eFRRO to convert his visa to X-1 so we can apply for his OCI. Recently I have been looking for a job switch. I have recieved an offer from a startup company whose client is hpe. HR round was taken by a HPE manager too. They told they have 25-30 employees in hpe. They have other clients like Deloitte, PWC .
He told after 6-8 months of performance I can be in direct payroll with HPE.
So is it a good idea to join ?
Or shall I look for other jobs ? Please help ..

Just heard my H1B petition was approved. Visa will be valid starting Oct 1, 2021. I am also scheduled to get promoted in October (unsure of which date exactly). Hypothetically, if I get promoted from Account Coordinator to Account Manager I on Oct 5, after my H1B kicks in on Oct 1, how would this work logistically? H1-B transfer question

I recently accepted an offer to join a company (A) . They started my H1-B transfer and I received today the approval notice for the transfer.

However, I accepted last week a (better) offer at another company (B) and they will start soon my H1-B transfer.

I attend to tell company (A) on Monday that I will not be joining them. Will there be any issue with company B filing for a H1-B transfer soon?

Anyone have experience in bringing over a blood relatives children as a dependent into usa? If so, which visa ? And what’s the process to follow
