Im wondering if i start applying to other ‘lower’ tier tech consulting companies with a higher salary, will that be a smart choice? Or should i focus on getting into a ‘high tier’ company

Hey Guys, I have applied to Accenture through their Accenture India portal and it's still showing pending review and my interview hasn't been scheduled yet. as I checked found out that pending review means the Application has been passed from HR to the operations team what should I do now as it's been more than 4 weeks and I haven't received any response from them and there is no way to contact them.i am getting a little frustrated about this

How easy is it to lateral from Bain to McK/BCG? About to join Bain post-PhD in a few months. Really interested in life science/biopharma but there’s not much work in it here and nervous I won’t be able to exit to that industry. Are there any other options besides lateraling? Just took this BCG Quant Reasoning test and I think I messed it up. Some of the units are so confusing. Is nearest 000s of pounds 23000 or 23? They don’t partial mark it and the whole test was filled with this sort of thing. Oh well

Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?
