On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). For better salary transparency - Any calibration folks care to share their industries/positions/salaries/locations? I’ll start: 9 YOE - current position is calibration technician for a medium sized biomed company in the Northeastern US. Roughly 130k total comp.

I received an offer for a role that is a lot more money than I thought but I still want to negotiate and see how much more money I can get. What can I say if the salary is already above average for the role in the market and city I live in?

The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.

I've been exploring exit opportunities for a few months and still holding out for the right opportunity. However, I've had A LOT of recruiters reach out to me for positions that are way below my current salary. They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. My resume clearly says I've got 10yrs experience and an MBA. I **don't think* I should be getting offers of 80k-100k
