Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We were beginning to make so much progress on transforming our school culture, but this year is erasing that and then some. Is anyone else concerned about how to raise the expectations and students’ self-discipline back to pre-enabling levels?

I have been working in SEA region last 4 years. I feel burned out. I have 10yoe, I have try to move to other country but I pretty much suck in LeetCode. I want to take some time off to unwind, finish some personal business, and really prepare for interviews. I would like to hear from you. Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period. I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? 22 years old and currently focused on using my left over income to invest and pay off my debt. I am set to pay off my college loans by next year and, when I do, I want to look into investing into real estate.
