How do you even get into it? Never heard of it

At which level can you start applying?

Going into IB.

@EY 1 you have to apply - the firm will pay for it but you owe them like 5 years of service after. If you're in NYC you go to Columbia. I've met one person who did this and they loved it, but they did an FWA and studied all day Friday and most of the weekends.

Simple. You do your MBA. You go work for a PE fund. You triple your money and you do meaningful work looking at companies in their entirety (finance, operation, marketing, legal, tax, etc), not just crunching the balance sheet accounts endlessly. In other words, you become smart. Go for it.

^I don't think it's quite that simple 😂 looking for real answers.

I am expecting an offer from Master Card for Senior Software Engineer position in O Fallon MO. Please let me know what kind of base salary I can expect with 11 yrs experience . I don’t wanna undersell but also trying to avoid being aggressive but quote a decent number which will be achievable. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Is 125k $ base a fair value for or I can pitch higher? They have a 15 to 20 % bonus on top of base pay and a 10% match on 401k which the recruiter keep highlighting.

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Any recommended resources for a mid-level lit associate looking to develop some skills in health care transactional work? I'm primarily a med-mal attorney and several clients have small opportunities on the MA side that I'd like to be able to assist with. The firm does not currently have a specific transactional healthcare practice group so I'd need to go out of the firm for mentorship in this area. For now, I'm just looking for good basic foundational resources.

Appreciate it!

I have a month left till my GMAT. Should I start solving the official questions timed or solve more untimed until I feel more comfortable? Asking because TTP is religiously advising on untimed strategy, but I’m currently struggling with timing especially CR; untimed sessions often make me take 3-4 minutes per question (80-90% accuracy). Thanks!
