nope. the opposite for me. too busy to spend i usually save 95% of post tax money from feb to april then again july to oct. its nice. keeps my living expenses below $40k a year on a $250k total comp. lol.

When I was an associate I'd spend so little Feb-April and make up for it after 4/15.

It was the opposite for me when I was in PA.
Only on food when I don’t meal prep because prices are high for what I’m willing to spend on dinner in the office.
Been doing this 12 years and every accountant I met has a vice. Spending to feel good doesn’t scratch the itch for me.
I do the opposite. Nothing makes me feel better than charging literally everything I can to the client.
Seeing growth in my investments (excluding today) and bank accounts makes me feel like it’s worth it.

February is my lowest spending month.. January and March are close 2nd place.
