Every Amazon package I've seen has been cardboard tbh
Depends what position and function. I know people who joined as managers in Marketing/ branding and senior Analysts in Finance and Pricing. Within Finance there are various roles - operation finance jobs in Fulfillment centers, corp finance, etc. From what I know the packages were diff for each, but we're pretty competitive

Yes, it's less than what you will receive from consulting firms. You do receive quite a bit of stock in Amazon as part of compensation but it doesn't fully vest until you've been wit the company for five years. Average turnover is about 18 months so most people usually don't fully best. Also agree with the above - it does really depend on where you get placed and the initial "rating" they give you. It's really hard to get promoted within Amazon, most people I know move laterally to other departments or externally to another company.
And dammit, excuse the spelling errors. Curse fat fingers and small iPhone keyboards 😝
I have lot of friends who joined Amazon after b school. It depends on what position. If you join as a Senior Product Manager, then your pay will be around base 140k + 50-65k joining bonus + 100k in stock option but if you join as Senior Program Manager or in Pathway Operations it's around $120 K + 30-35k joining bonus. Not sure about the stock options.
$117K salary, $25K signing, $85K options, $20K year retention bonus offer after grad school
Oh and also, ignore what I just posted...I was responding from the perspective of getting an offer out of undergrad business school...I think you're referring to MBA. My bad.
My friend joined Google after B school. All I remember him saying it's that Amazon pays less and was offering him half of what Google did.
Also one of my friend was able to negotiate to 135k base for Senior Program Manager right out of business school.
I've seen $100k differences in total comp. Amazon doesn't do standardized pay like banking and consulting.
About a third is stock based comp
Are these all based in the same corporate headquarters location? Just curious.
