All I know about this company is that they hate McKinsey
Don't we all?
Hey I’m an SVP at Alix - 190 would be the lowest salary I’ve ever heard of for this title.
WLB is rough but we make a ton of money
Yep travel as required

Base is meaningless here - bonus is 50%+ as you go up in level.
That’s too low. To my understanding your SM level equals to their Director level. SVP & VP are roles that equal Manager / Sr Manager-in-the-making.
That base is very low for New York btw.
Yes, this matters. Corporate services salaries and TC are not comparable to client services unless very senior or potentially in a role that requires a skill set in high demand in the market. If you got 190k + bonus while SVP2, I would expect that would be on the higher end of SVPs in CorpServs.

SM = SVP or very junior Director. Would be careful coming in cold as a Director - you’d be leading projects very solo with small teams, and it’s a steep learning curve.
The firm hasn’t adjusted the comp to match the recent market adjustments and inflation adjustments over the past years. So yes, it’s low. We’re about to get our bonuses, so keep an eye out for those posts to get a rough idea
