How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.

I got offer as Associate (Technology) from pwc. Can I extend my joining date for 3-4 weeks?

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). IMHO, our stint in consulting’s purpose is to develop a corporate strategy skillset. Doing CDDs is one of if not the best way to get a ton of reps and variety in our 18 - 24 month tenure.

With options among MBB, T2 incl S&, EYP, and general Big 4 / ACN MC:

- Take MBB (can ask for CDD, overall better comp package)
- Reject B4 MC (won’t get it here)
- T2 (pick other T2s if you want way more strategy projects that aren’t CDD / growth strategy)
