I woke at Goldman, found out last week I’m getting promoted to VP effective Jan 1 and came back from maternity leave in early November. Now I find out they’re laying off a bunch of people. Do you think I am safer because I just was on maternity leave? And why would they promote me if I am going to get fired? Just want some other ladies views on this… Does my recent mat leave actually protect me?

Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter, to be approved by L4), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa. After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).

I don't have any other offer as of now. What should I do?

I am an AVP Associate Client Manager at Marsh in Energy. 3 years experience in energy- total of 10 years experience in the insurance industry formerly HNW personal. After negotiating, and CTC fixing hr said there will be 10% deduction as a retention part that will be credit after 1 yr, and then there reduction it's for only one year deduction. Is it red flag?

I had decided CTC by calculating all expenses I have to ber moving to different city. Now I'll be short of some sum in my calculations.

Undergrad Nontarget. Got past the resume check in November for McKinsey Summer BA but didn't make it past imbellus which was really crushing. Does anyone have any help for the following?

A. Succeeding in imbellus and making it to the case
B. Getting past the resume process this upcoming full time cycle. I'm worried that my negative imbellus result will be kept on file and they won't let me take it again.
