I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid but someone I'm friendly with in HR has been acting weird since Monday, which is when I told my boss. Would she have to tell HR legally? What should I do?

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!

Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. You’d think that since HSV-2 affects 20% of Americans and likely a higher % of gay men, there would be less taboo but it’s hardly ever talked about. Anyone else in my shoes? Or had it disclosed to them?

I kind of feel that the HR I am talking with isn't that approachable. Is this kind of a norm. In VOIS. I am little hesitant to proceed with accepting the job offer from VOIS due to this.

Anyone have any stories of their worst burnout feeling?

What's triggering you to feel exhausted, negative, or lose your motivation?

We all start our jobs full of hope and promise. That same hope and promise may still be there. However, the eventual grind or consistent overcommitment of anything will trigger you towards Burnout if you are not aware of them.

Be aware if you are consistently over-committing to something that will burn you out. Take breaks. Change your patterns. Whatever you need to do. Just don't overdo it.

I can manage my classroom better if I don’t respond to emails outside of office hours. This gives my mind a break and by consequence refreshes me for the next day. It also sets a boundary.

Is it possible to find projects starting at the beginning of January? Looking for projects now but concerned there won't be many available meaning I'll likely get extended on my current project 😔

Hy Fishes, I am at really bad position now.
I passed out in 2020. Studied a little full stack. While doing that for 1 yr and applying interviews. I finally landed as devops tarine with 1yr bond.the ctc is 1.2 lakh per yr. its been few months. I have been tarined and have been doing small tasks. After internship company told i will b permanent and the salary will increase.
