I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)

This would be my lean fire plan if I get fired
Consider that the cost is not just the RV space rental, but also the upfront cost or monthly payment for the RV itself. If you are living in it full time for an extended period, plan on getting none of that value back when you sell it because of the wear and tear you put on it. Plan to do all maintenance yourself as getting things fixed is way expensive.
My (now) husband lived in one for 3-4 years while attending college because his step mom thought it would be cheaper than rent in a college town. The RV spot was $350 compared to an apartment with 3 roommates at $500, but the upfront cost (used) versus basically giving it away after, I think it ended up more expensive. But if you're looking for no roommates, may be a decent option.
Also consider the size of space. My husband is very tall and had the travel trailer kind, and he couldn't even fully stand up in certain areas without risk of hitting his head.
Also consider your bathroom situation, sometimes the plumbing can be not great, shower is stupid small. Renting at an RV park versus a plot of land can be nice for bathroom facilities. He'd shower and go #2 in their bathrooms.
Cooking is tight. Washing dishes in the sink is worse. Remember that you don't have full size appliances, so you can't cook "larger" items in microwave or oven, you need miniature everything. Limited fridge space means you spend more on smaller packaged items vs buying in bulk/ larger item.
Based on my personal experience, I rank living in an RV above living in the dorms (shared bathrooms for the whole floor) but lower than an apartment with roommates.

I prefer house mates to house on wheels
I did that a bunch over covid. One 3 mo straight stint and various others. Absolutely loved it. Amazing life, lots of free spots if you get out of cities. Just need to have the right personality for it
You have to be really handy to fix stuff cuz it breaks all the time
Yeah both my husband and I are incredibly handy, we both like a minimalist life (with some chosen luxuries), and even factoring in maintenance costs of 10% of the value and rent at RV parks, we would break even in 3 years compared to renting (we are getting a 2 bathroom RV so comparing to renting in a 2 bathroom apartment) which is very doable. Seems like a great route since we don’t have/want kids and would be happier being able to move around.
Obviously we are not comparing to a small city. Having access to culture only offered in a large city is important to us, so it is cheaper based on the bare minimum of living standard. I’m from Alabama originally and I just can’t backslide to small town life lol
