Anyone got promoted to director with less than expected utilization?

Best moves after becoming PMM? I've been in the role for 4-5 years now but looking to really challenge myself - I am not sure what the next leap would be other than moving into leadership or starting my own company. Thoughts?

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I’ve never experienced this difficult of a time searching for new opportunities. Is this normal once you hit a certain level in your career or is it just me?

Anyone know how to get a position as an HRBP without HRPB experience? All positions I've looked at want previous experience. Would over 5 years of HR experience and a PHR suffice, or what skills should be added to that?

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. I’m 5 yrs out of college. Any advice?

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.

Which industries are T15 B-schools best suited for? i) what is the precise path to partnership after director? Is it true that typically once someone is promoted to MD, that you’re generally not on the path to partner? Ive seen MD’s make partner and ive seen directors make partner. What is the difference in these paths and why?

ii) what is the compensation range for deals Managing Director in a Tier 1 city (NYC, etc.)
