Based on the comments of many I know I’m not alone in just being weary right now and the past year. Big law litigation is just a billable hamster wheel I want to get off. I’m also done with firm politics, billable hours, and mystery comp models. But I’m a sucker for security and the “devil you know” has kept me here for years. Need advice on how to frame (unintentional) job hopping. In Nov. 2019, I left a job of 6 yrs to lead marketing strategy at a Start-Up. By Mar. 2020, I realized the culture was toxic. I had to leave for my mental health. Finding a new role took a while due to the pandemic, but I found a role at a digital marketing agency. It was a great team, but paid very little. I took a higher paying job this March. Turns out, my new company is unstable and about to be acquired. I am job searching again.
