FYI I used hertz for the rental.
I got stuck in the middle of an intersection, the yellow turned so fast. So I’m expecting a ticket. Any insight on how this works and what to expect?
Hertz will send you a bill. + and up-charge for their processing fee
Does hertz pay the ticket and then bill me directly? Or will I get a separate bill?
Only asking because I’m worried it will be charged to my company card
Hertz will charge the processing fee to your company card. The ticket will be mailed to you and you pay the ticket to the city directly
To clarify hertz doesn’t mail the ticket to you. They provide the city with your info so the city mails the ticket to you. The processing fee essentially is them giving the city your info
If it’s what I’m imagining and you were already in the intersection before the light turned red, you might not get a ticket
