Anyone have an insights on firms open to TN status Consultants? Was in TX since late 2023 and got laid off last October (project completion). Was on long-term advisory and financial transformation projects (post merger integration). This year has been a tough market as I had multiple rounds with a few Big 4 but didn't get selected (no designation but ex big 4 and 15 years of total experience). I've had to now move back to Canada but really don't see a future here that I like. Any advice?

I believe Alexander Group is open to TN, but unfortunately less and less firms are offering it. My classmates on TN have had to go for sponsored roles.

Hello,

I will be joining PWC AC Bangalore in couple of weeks for SAP tech stack.
I am joining from a product based company. So wanted to know how we are assigned to projects. Will there be any client interviews. If yes will it be very tough? Do we get a say in the projects we can get to work or its usually assigned and we have to take it up.

Thank You.

I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

My post is for a lot of folks here who complain about managers not budging to negotiations and not offering package ,what you are expecting.I have one thing to say, there are lot of ibm employees who moved to kyndryl. Inspite of lot of contributions they are earning meagre salary. Now do you expect these people to hire you for more package most of time the package you are demanding is more than what these managers draw. So pls do not look at kyndryl as any other startup.Thanks.
