I left after I asked my partner out. She just got divorced I thought I had a shot.
Senior Consultant 1 cougar still isn’t gonna actually be in a real relationship with you though 😂
Team member is getting pipped after defrauding the company by taking a relocation bonus to the US while never actually moving (to get a US salary while living abroad), and traveling/vacationing for 4 weeks during onboarding instead of actually completing any learnings or work, all while blatantly lying about it all.
Had an incompetent manager who was basically AWOL and is also being managed out because of this.

Had a teammate (male) get fired because his wife sent an email to the entire team (including seniors) after suspecting he cheated on her with another colleague (female).
Funny follow up, she got into a bike accident together with another colleague who's also married, outside of a motel near the office.
Lol she was right all along!

An analyst in my cohort played Halo 3 everyday, all day for like 3 months while he was on the bench waiting for his first project. All of us were like “dude wtf are you doing”
He eventually got let go because he was staffed on an internal project where he had to do some pretty basic excel jockeying (think pivot tables, making graphs and making an IF statement here and there) and just straight up told the more senior members on the team “I have no idea how to do this, sorry” and wouldn’t put in any effort to learn. Management also caught on to it because the analyst cohort were always laughing at him in the office for being a Halo 3 addict lol
What's WFH?

I worked with someone who got fired for doctoring a number of written taxi receipts from $15-19 to $75-79. The level of idiocy of throwing away a $250K year job for petty cash is pretty high.
I’ve heard enough stories like that where it must happen all the time. Blows my mind people could be that stupid.

This was years ago, had a M colleague get fired after getting hammered during the office Christmas party and going up to a group of partners and, loudly enough that everyone in the ballroom could hear him, yelled "Fuck you, and fuck you, and fuck you, and fuck you" at them and threw his drink at one of them. He was gone the next day.
I have no clue what brought it on, but it was both horribly awkward as a witness and absolutely hilarious.
@MC1 Was this someone at Intercom in SF? I heard about this story through the grapevine lol
Married colleague at another job got fired for using the company credit card to pay for escorts. He claimed he used the wrong card on accident.

Fell asleep at my desk at an internship in sophomore year of college.
Was referred to it by a girl I liked (and who liked me). Needless to say, she did not want to hookup after that :(
That’s just petty 😂
I worked with a colleague who got fired watching p*rn in office and later HR found out he has fotos of female colleagues social network sites downloaded on his laptop..
Took a dump on my director’s car cause he was racist
SC3 let’s not forget that OP actually took a dump on his directors car 😂
Stupid as in a stupid reason for getting fired that wasn’t deserved or stupid as in they did something incredibly stupid and got deservedly fired for it?
