Currently working in Due Diligence and looking to switch to either IM or Consulting. I’m really looking to grow and I recently got an offer for a TP role at one of the big four. Should I take the offer and then pivot to a management consultant role from there or should I stay in banking and try to get myself into IM? What are my options? Thanks!

Made the pivot from Big 4 to Bain and frankly underwhelmed. Seems like Bains Ops capabilities / general knowledge resources / white papers are lagging the industry quite a bit. Miles behind BCG / McKinsey as well. Literally only good for PE and nothing else.

Interviewed for Meta exactly 2 weeks ago today. Contacted the recruiter last Tuesday and they said they were waiting to hear back from the hiring manager to discuss the interview results. Need advice and pep talk because I’m certain I have chronic imposter syndrome :( Background on me, I have about 6 years of work experience post college but have gone through many companies because of layoffs and/or reorgs. My favorite part of consulting is helping the consultants I manage improve their public speaking by designing talking points, reducing their fear or anxiety around speaking, and improving their executive presence.
