Anyone have experience moving from AUS to US without an internal company office transfer?

Currently at a T2 looking to transfer to similar consulting, PE ops, or corporate strat role. AU citzen, do not have US Visa. Personal situation will make internal office transfer difficult so looking for alternatives.

Any recruitment contacts you could recommend? Assuming direct application to companies would have a very low success rate.

Why do Big 4 firms interview you for a specific position level and then try to make you come in below that level...

That would be a lateral move for me in terms of level which be okay if at least it was a good pay increase but Their quoted pay range for the lower level would make it almost a lateral move financially too..
