Gross generalization, but for the most part, do they benefits of having a HDHP/ HSA outweigh the other typically offered employment plans? (i.e HMO or POS)
Recruiter from FTI Consulting reached out for their cyber practice. Anyone have salary info for their levels? Is it a lot of travel?
A break from COVID....let’s daydream for a minute... Say you are back on your regular travel schedule, what would be one thing you wish existed that would make traveling better for you?
On ustraveldoc profile for visa interview are we suppose to enter Given name(first name Middle Name) in first name column or just first name suffice.I created my profile with just first name and can't edit it now. That website states that name should match with ds160. Would this be an issue. I plan to travel in 2 weeks and have to go for stamping this time. This new stupid requirement of first name match with given name is real problem and I am not able to book appointment due to this. Any suggestions
CDC's current best estimate is that 35% of Covid infections are asymptomatic and mortality rate for symptomatic infections is only 0.4%. Hindsight is 20/20, but this was all a huge overreaction and not worth the economic cost and long-term negative impact of shutting everything down. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/planning-scenarios.html
Marriott hotel recommendations midtown east or close to Central Park. Looking for something mid price range that has a good executive lounge floor.

They agreed bc this was now height of covid but ultimately it fell through due to the seller getting an upfront offer. Due to the current situation, we’re still not 100% comfortable with buying as we’re just both generally risk averse and are exploring 2 options:

Not passionate about my job whatsoever. Just staying in it because I’m decent at it and the things I am passionate about unfortunately don’t pay a decent salary ☹️ Feeling a little trapped right now.
Does anyone in here have accommodations at work for concentration/memory issues or something similar (think learning disability, add, PTSD etc). Do these even exist? I know legally they have to, but curious to hear how that works in practice or if people don’t even ask because of the stigma.
Client referred me to thier mother. Has $68k coming due in cds and wants income. Money is qualified. Refuses stocks. Wants some money short term. Any ideas?
Funny how Hill Holliday does layoffs twice this year and still has a lavish summer party. I get it was the anniversary but don’t people want more pay than drinking at a yacht club. SMH
