Hello fishes,
Last Monday (16 May), I had sent an email to Mindtree recruiter regarding the other offer I have and to revise my salary structure.
I haven't got any response from them yet. My joining date in Mindtree is 23rd May, and 30th May in another organization.
I'm not sure what I should do next?
P.S other offer is from Citiustech Healthcare Technologies .
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.
How is the job security within Coforge?
Hi Fishes

Me. Never go to EY. Period
EY is my biggest regret.
I started at PwC and switched to EY after 2 years, been here for 4. I found the culture at PwC to be much more A type personalities, while EY can be passive aggressive. I had more seniors and managers berate staff in front of the teams at PwC, but EY is just as political behind the scenes. I much prefer EY as they confrontations at PwC took a toll emotionally. Some people thrive on that though, it's all personal preference.
Overall, same shit different toilet. At the end of the day, it all depends on who you are working with
EY kinda sucks
pwc seems more buttoned up whereas EY seems more laid back. Not sure if that makes sense but that is the impression of the firms that I have had since I was in school. Both firms have great people and both firms average person is above average intelligence and ambition.
EY has a culture problem right now. Vision2020 has destroyed what used to be a great firm.
I've enjoyed the culture at EY...Probably just depends on personal preference/luck of the draw on teams to an extent.
To each his own; I found PwC unbearable and am very happy at EY. I am comparing tax in NYC. EY has treated me like a professional and given me the flexibility to be me. The people at PwC we’re back stabbers and just task masters. Found the cultures to be night and day.
EY sucks
I agree with a lot of the comments here that EY is more laid back than pwc and that pwc is more type A. Of course, this is a generalization and can vary by office/team.
Both firms have pluses and minuses. Awesome people at both. I find it depends on with whom you work and your practice line.
Worked at EY for 2 years and it was the worst experience ever!! So much happier at PwC, been here almost 3 years now.
Pwc 1 why?
Also, I'm comparing offices in Atlanta. The cultures vary greatly by city. PwC Houston is more relaxed and EY Houston is more uptight (again, specific to my team) whereas it's reverse in Atlanta.
Really depends on the office and the team you work with. Luck of the draw mostly
What is Vision 2020?
EYs unreasonable attempt to grow exponentially by 2020. You know when you make those grandiose plans/goals and then you don’t reach it...so you revise it and still don’t reach it...so you revise it again to be something you can already reach, and then you congratulate yourself for “accomplishing” your hard goal? That’s what EY is going through.
Sounds unrealistic. Whoever came up with the name should be beaten with a garden hose. KPMG is doing something similar.
I miss PwC and working technology daily. EY (my team at least) is far more flexible and remote-friendly. I'd go back to peg in a heartbeat, though, if I could be more flexible there.
