LLM program? Just wing it.
Not NYU LLM, but do have a tax LLM. International Tax is a very hard subject. Whether you review notes/slides, etc, depends on your honest assessment of how comfortable you are with your understanding of the concepts and ability to answer questions. It cant hurt to read things over again. It took me several reads of the material in Nutshell to finally have a high-level grasp of International Tax, but I'm a slow learner.

Redo all of the problem sets a few times. I did that, in conjunction with reviewing US International Taxation by Postlewaite (which was not the assigned text for the course, but much easier to understand), for International Tax I, II, and III at NYU.
Steines is the one who isn’t that great? And the adjunct is Shaheen? I got by just on Shaheen’s class and exercises, didn’t do much review - A-.

Is it Shaheen because I took it online and it was brutallllllllll.
I took the version recorded during covid. Between his accent and the mask I literally couldn’t understand him. I also took it during the summer so the timing was tighter.
You should probably try to find an outline, but yes, reviewing the nutshell book is a great starting point
I should add that I didn’t take international tax during law school (I took practically every other tax subject i.e. partnership, corporate, etc.) so that’s probably contributing to why I feel concerned
