Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. Performance reviews coming at the end of the this year and I’m wondering 1) if my salary is on par with what I should expect 2) how to approach conversations about raises and promotion with my supervisor. My joining date mentioned in IBM Offer letter which I received just a while ago is second week of November, 2021. However, I have 90 days notice period. It also says to accept within 3 days and a clause is written that joining date can be revised only till 5 days. Will ibm revise my joining date ? I know people who are constantly crashing and that’s without the set time for prayer. And despite hearts or gold, obvious piety and a high work ethic.

We’ve been attending a church for about 6 months now and trying to decide if it’s our church home. The only reason I’m hesitant is because people don’t seem to engage with us as much as I expected. For example, I told the pastors wife about a serious diagnosis we recently received and she did pray for us on the spot, but no one has reached out to us at all to check in. Am I expecting too much?
