What is a good salary tab to be at for a consultant role with an international NGO? The profile is Marketing Communications. I have 7 years of experience and hold two MS degrees - one from reputed US private university and one from a leading Indian B-school. Although I have a 3 year gap due to maternity, during my break I also completed my foreign language certification.

Has anyone had issues with hiring department? I applied to a IT position, passed the interview and they gave me a start date and salary. I was very happy and can’t wait to start but then… my recruiter told me that we have to delay the start date because my badge has not been created yet. Can anyone explain the levels at Google? I’m a consultant with 1.5 years of consulting experience and 5 years of industry pre MBA experience. Spoke with someone at Google about analytical lead role that I think would be leveled at 4 or 5? Thoughts on applying vs waiting it out to get promoted to project leader in 6 months and making move then?
