About 6 months ago I applied for a team lead role and didn't get it. My boss, in recognition of my efforts (and maybe being a little scared that I'd quit) gave me a 13% raise, and minor promotion to get better clients. NOW I applied for another team lead role (2nd interview soon, wish me luck), if I get it, could withhold a raise from me? Or maybe short me on a raise because I already got a bump this year? I haven't had the convo yet, just trying to be prepared.

Suggestions to move to a market facing role as a fresh graduate with internship experience in market risk?

Salary expectation question. I'm currently in an internship position role with an hourly rate of $22. If my contract ends at the end of August and if I could hypothetically request for a full time contract, should I ask for a higher pay? I think my salary is roughly $42,000/year. What would be a ground-to-earth asking if I'm not longer an intern? I'm thinking around $57,000, or is that too much?

How long after your interviews did you get a response back you got the job ?

I was interviewing for a Product Manager role. Went through 3 rounds of interviews, positive feedback throughout. Before the UK long weekend, I was told a 4th and final round will be scheduled soon. Yesterday I was informed that they are proceeding with another candidate. I asked HR what were the weaknesses in my profile and she said "None, really". This was my most promising prospect for a move to a PM role yet and I kind of feel helpless. Should I seek feedback from interviewers?

I am so tired of Deloitte allowing bias towards MDs. Only because you are not an equity partner, your voice is automatically muted, you can contribute but you don’t get to decide. The minute a senior manager gets promoted to a principal, he gets on top of an MD with 15+ years experience and treats you like he is your boss. I mean this is a cast system at its best! Made some stupid financial decisions in my early 20s and it’s catching up to me and I’m at a point where I’m struggling to pay my cards.
