If you declined a job offer from a B4, but now want to pursue the opportunity a few months later, would the firm move forward with you? Would they make you interview again if so?

Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it. However, once it’s comes down to me and 1-2 other candidates, I repeatedly have been turned down for the person who has more relevant experience as they’re a safer bet for the employer. Would love advice from anyone who’s dealt with this before. It’s tough to get them to take a risk on me

Applied for a Director role in industry without realizing their Director = our manager. Had a call with HR that said their salary band is $20-30k below my current. They are requesting an interview with hiring manager, who is a lot less experienced than I am. Should I email them now to let know I am not interested or go through it?

Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

Had an intro chat / interview with HH canceled bc of “scheduling conflict”. They said they’d reschedule asap. Haven’t heard from them for 3 days. Should I wait, follow-up or set up another call? Am I reading too much into it?

Hi all, looking for advice on… well everything career related 😔 it’s the “great resignation” and people are moving on to better things all around me. I’ve been actively searching and interviewing for at least 6 months, and no offers after final round. Is it really unrealistic to expect a raise in this current economic climate? Review period is coming up in July, and I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot by not asking for a raise.
