Anyone know if it's normal for agencies like Peace Corps and USAID to take 2+ months to give an update on whether your application has been referred to the hiring manager? I applied for a position, for example, with USAID at the beginning of February and the status still shows up as application received...

For interview HR was created a new ep number
But i already have another epn number with different email address,
So i couldn't register with new ep number
What should I do ?
Please advise, as per the mail if I didn't upload the details before 48 hrs HR will not move forward my account with next step

It’s now been about a month since I cold applied to all big 4 firms for upcoming winter internships. I’ve tried reaching out to some of the recruiters in the area I applied for but no response. Is this white flag territory or is there still hope? And if it’s the ladder is there anything I can do to speed up the process or is it just a waiting game.

I was wondering what kind of contractual or other barriers I might face if I apply for one of the big 4 while working on a project with them in my current company.
I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.
Will this considered “poaching” if the consulting firm hires me? Would they need to talk to my current employer?

I got invited to a second round interview with a big company. The title sounds more senior than my current title, but the work responsibilities feel like a step down. I am wondering if I should still interview (to see if they will consider me for my desired role instead or at least, get some interview practice for when a better opportunity comes along). Thoughts? Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this?
