I have experience across multiple industries (tech/telecom/Pharma (dermatology)/beauty and skin care and I am looking for a Director or VP role (my last job was a VP). I just started this job as a graphic designer for a small printing company. Since working there, I've already had to perform other tasks besides graphic design. The company is really short-staffed so occasionally "everyone has to chip in" so to speak. I don't mind helping out but sometimes it happens a bit too often.
On top of that, the art department is in the same space as the sales department. So the sales lady is always giving her opinion about how the creative process should go.

I am looking at jobs in California but live out of state (and not willing to relocate). I thought in the age of remote work this wouldn’t be an issue, but the registered in house counsel status in California requires residency in California. Any way around this? Is it possible to work as counsel for a CA company without living there/getting registered in house status? Or am I shit out of luck?

Is there a point to disclosing a relationship between two staff who are in different lines of service?
