Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

Hello, in my previous organisation I worked in development domain (Oracle IAM Tool and Java)and my post was software Engineer, i joined Wipro as project Engineer in April 2022 and was assigned non technical project as an analyst.

I fought my way hard to get released from the project. However my designation is changed as Analyst. Should I ask for change in designation as I know that analyst is non-technical profile? Would my designation impact my future role as well?

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. Anyone have any tips for how to heal a shoulder injury? Started working out pretty young and had bad form which probably lead to some long term injury in my right shoulder. Whenever I lift the pain is minimal at lower weights but brutal at higher weights. Also, any tips on how to properly warm up your shoulders would be greatly appreciated.

Just finishing my first week in as an audit intern and genuinely I have no idea what I'm doing or even a general idea of the audit process. The senior associate left the engagement last week so it's just me and an associate, and they don't have time to give me instruction.

Am I stupid or did the e-learns not prepare me for any of this? The training told me I'd be auditing cash but I haven't even touched a bank reconciliation.

Advice for studying for CISA? I’ve purchased the CRM, QAE, and Hemang Doshi’s book. So far I’m having trouble reading through the CRM because it’s so detailed that everything seems important and difficult to retain. I’m an incoming new hire so I think I should read the book even though I know people who have passed with only QAE (they were previous b4 interns)
