Tata Consultancy Infosys Cognizant Wipro I have completed all the technical and HR rounds and salary discussion, documents submission also done. But all of sudden got mail from hr saying that my profile is kept on hold. Any possibility that I will receive offer letter or it will be in hold forever? Meantime can I attend interview for other positions in hcl?
PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?

Does anyone have experience with Ben Glass’s “Great Legal Marketing” programs? https://greatlegalmarketing.com
I ordered a free “starter kit” from his company and received a decent-sized box with some books and audio CD’s. Haven’t listened to the CD’s yet, but the books aren’t bad, with plenty of practical advice.
Now he’s running a promotion where you can get two months of his basic-level course for just $19.95 to cover the cost of shipping. It seems that Ben is one of the better-regarded legal marketing “gurus” out there.
Elon seems awfully quiet hmmm 🧐

Honestly, I found it tough. You can kind of chill a bit more at Bain because a) staffing it pretty automatic and b) there are layers over you when you’re junior.
A) staffing is entirely on you. Part of what we’re reviewed on is ‘staffing pull’, which indirectly is a function of how good Partners think you are. It’s much more stressful.
B) BAs are the sole drivers of their workstream. It’s on you to figure it all out and make sure your leadership are aligned, there isn’t a C to help you. EMs similarly are the only role that holds it all together. Stress is higher, lifestyle is worse but you learn faster, get much more responsibility earlier and get promoted quicker.
My experience was also that the median overall is higher (probably because everyone is forced to grow up faster) and the top 10% of people at every level are just levels above anything I saw at Bain.
Would 100% recommend if you ‘want more’ but go in with your eyes open, it’s much more of a trial by fire.
Probably, yeah.
Why do you think you’d enjoy McKinsey more?
I meant “home grown” in the McK context - should have clarified. Assuming you joined as a C1 at Bain, that’s “home grown” here too.
