Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me.
But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?

Ritz was initially a mispriced package rate book able on Marriott.com ($157/night before gift card discount and included $100/night credit), extended by a nice front desk manager, and then I moved to a $137/night AAA rate (before gift card discount) booked on Marriott.com which the front desk manager agreed to extend beyond its eligibility. Current rate was a long-stay rate (21+ nights) booked on Marriott.com extended by the GM beyond when it was supposed to end. I’ve done some negotiating with managers at other properties but couldn’t get rates low enough to make sense. Also stayed at the Ritz downtown LA by booking the JW Marriott on a AAA rate while the JW was closed for 3 months and JW guests were being accommodated at the Ritz.
I believe the written standard is that platinum members and higher are not supposed to be asked for proof of rate eligibility (other than for travel industry, friends and family, and owner rates), but hard to say what you might be asked for. I don’t recall ever being asked for AAA eligibility, though I am a member.
I bought $17,000 in gift cards when they were 20% off. I’ve been living in Marriott hotels since mid-March, so it was effectively a 20% discount on rent (with about $5k of it retroactive too). Still have $4k left but I might buy some more with sale. You have 60 days to return them and the balance never expires. They can also be used internationally at market exchange rates (not the crappy hotel exchange rates) if the property processes them properly.
FYI you get zero night credits and zero points for stays of 90+ days. Hope you are aware!
Can’t remember the details, but it’s in the terms and conditions
1. Do you still get 6 x when using Marriott CC?
2. Do you still get full points on rates? (10pts/dollar + elite bonus)
Yes to both questions. Technically gift cards can’t be applied to prepaid rates, but I suspect in practice you’d often be able to (hotels have been happy to refund my credit card for payments already made and then charge gift cards instead.)
Do you negotiate rates with the hotels before staying or are these corporate rates?
