Anyone who gave the CFE exam recently care to share some tips & tricks on the prep ? I am contemplating to give it in next 2-3m.

If you study consistently after work and on weekends for about two weeks, you should be set. Just do all the MC questions for a section, get a passing grade on the practice exam for a given section, and take that section immediately. Repeat for all four. It’s all abt leveraging short term memory.

I bought the study course and studied using the practice question bank

like

How many hours of prep did it take ? I did buy the material & the practice bank too.

Just spend time studying....it seems lame but that is all that is needed. Find someone who is willing to help you and quiz you....you'll make it.

I read the book ( the thinner summarized one) and answered all the Questions in the materials.

like

Do you happened to have the thinner summarized book available? If so can you share it? I am trying to take my CFE exam as well. I have one section left.

I went through the prep questions and did practice exams for each section about 4 times. Gave one section at a time and finished it in about 4 weeks.

Okay so, its been a while since I've been seeing this in Linkedin:
The Job requirement says its Entry Level, but the experience it requires is always 6 year+... like how would a fresher match that.. should I've started coding at 6th grade or what?

I understand that it's a way of "SEO" in LinkedIn but it just discourages us freshies.

Actually not sure if this post belongs in this bowl but.. it is what it is?
P.s. I still apply to these because what's the worst that could happen... right?
