Anyone who has frozen their eggs has a baby from that in this group? I know several who have from frozen embryos but not eggs.

As in, the number of eggs you retrieve doesn’t provide a true indication of the number of viable embryos you end up making. So had a high egg retrieval count but had few viable embryos at the end of the day.

Yes - froze my eggs when I was younger and then turned them into embryos last year and have a baby from that original retrieval. There was definitely a drop off rate that I didn’t appreciate when I was younger but happy to address any other questions

What do you mean by drop-off rate?

Yup!

I know we cannot expense phone/internet/ commuter benefit as I am not actively doing work.

However, for other items that fall under wage works reimbursement, I couldn’t find anything in writing yet.

Wondering what maternity leave policies look like at other small firms. Anyone care to share?

Consulting Baby Shower question - what was the best baby shower gift you ever received?

I recently got asked in an interview “how do you keep on top of employment law, your award and fair work regulations?” Truth is I’m subscribed to mailing lists but that’s about it… I sometimes feel dumb because I forget what’s in the fair work act, I need to check it every time someone is going on parental leave… then I forget the min requirements again.
Does anyone else have the same problem? How do you keep on top of / remember important NES & regulations?

I’m getting really discouraged by the process of finding a daycare. Currently 32w pregnant and it’s crazy to me that literally no daycare I’ve spoken to can speak to availabilities in the Spring. It’s nothing but waitlists. Should I have started looking sooner? Starting to get worried that my maternity leave will and and we will still have zero plan on how to get childcare.

I'm also having offer for 30+ lpa in India.
Would it be a wise decision to move there. Would I be able to save enough and enjoy as well?
