Anyone who knows how to create boundaries for physical exercise ? Like a 1 hour session before the day starts.

I am scared of health taking a backseat with this sedentary lifestyle.

Hello I am a current nutrition masters student that will be finished with my degree this July and am trying to get involved with healthcare/ tech consulting. I have done 4 years of research in various fields and have readily available skills. I have also worked in a private practice, volunteered my time for EMS, and worked in a hospital so I know healthcare from a different perspective. If anyone can refer me to a consulting job or to a recruiter that would be greatly appreciated!

Second year considering leaving NY biglaw for a few public interest options. Partly for mental health reasons. Making market, and I would potentially leave for a starting position offering around / a bit over $80k. Holding out currently to see what else arises. Fortunately I don’t have much debt, and that’s enough to cover my basic rent/living expenses, but not by much. Has anyone made a jump like that before? How did you manage financially if so? I am someone whole dwells on my past mistakes, both in professional and personal setting. These mistakes, when I look back in hindsight, aren't a big deal usually. My problem is that I dwell on it for days on end until my brain is exhausted and I been trying hard actively to stop dwelling. Thoughts just keep flooding in my brain. I hate it and it can ruin my days.

Anyone else have a similar problem and how did you get pass it? My firm sponsors therapy. Do you think it'll help?

If you wanting a mix of salary increase and work / life benefit increase, what are some things you negotiate for that you now have in your job? Additional pto? Flex time? Other special arrangements? Has any one negotiated periods of time off ( around a month) based on certain objectives met? Was thinking perhaps negotiating unpaid leave for pursuing other interests / family time. Job is in medical IT, Midwest, 10 years. Thank you for looking and appreciate any comments.
