No, not since I started my company. I honestly think I've put too much time and energy (and money!) into this venture to ditch it for a role that would put me back into a 9-5. No thank you!
This is really helpful - those are some of my concerns. I think I could be really successful on my own, but I have to admit the new role has the potential to pay double+ the last full time role I left earlier this year, and that's obviously pretty intriguing too.
I’d say it depends… Do you actually want the position? Is your current business doing well? Being your own boss usually means more flexibility and higher earning potential, but that lifestyle isn’t for everyone. If you’re happy where you are and just tempted by the offer, maybe don’t accept. But if you’re not feeling fulfilled, it might be worth considering the switch.
I'd love to provide more context, but can't do so in a public forum - you're profile says I can't DM you, but if you're open to talking, please initiate a DM. I would love to hear more from you.
idk about “major” lol but i worked at a start up, then started my own accounting firm, then joined up with the biggest firm in my region
Worked for me, but I have gone back and forth
