Feeling so down after being turned down for MD. And exit appears to be so hard - getting no traction in Industry or PE right now.

Looking for a PwC referral. My current company has been great but we were acquired by a start up PE firm a year ago and I feel like the acquisition is starting to hinder my growth. I have 3 years experience in strategic sourcing and procurement transformation, initially starting as an intern. I want to continue advancing my career but feel stuck. Trying to give this company a chance but see an opportunity at PWC I think I would be a great fit for. Any advice?

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

Any one ever used a career counselor service before? If so what was your experience with them? Did you find it beneficial to your own career transition? And which companies would you recommend? Or if you hated it or think it was a waste of time I'd like to hear that too and why🙂.

If I interview again for a differenr role, would I have to do all the interviews again or can I use some of the scores from previous interviews. Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?
