What is the expectation at your firms about coming into work after making your billable hours requirement? Asking especially for those who do not get a bonus per extra hour billed over the minimum.

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). It’s a 4 year degree and under this I have my High School equivalent with the years I attended there. The education wasn’t mentioned in the interviews. Continued below.

My remit quadrupled+ in a recent re-org with no increase in pay/promotion, my new director is new to the company and was zero help, and I was passed over for recent promotion during the comp cycle. We’re in such a vicious business. You give your heart & soul to an agency, a client, a brand. Then the wind changes & you’re laid off, reassigned, chewed up, spit out, on to the next. I’m tired.

I’m currently interviewing for an AS role which would be a bit of a pay cut, but I’ll get to learn a lot so I’m interested. Any tips on how to approach the negotiation convo if/when that comes, besides asking to at least meet me halfway re:salary? They already provide unlimited PTO and free health benefits(which is nice).
