Are any other plaintiff’s attorneys getting extremely low settlement offers & seeing adjusters use COVID as leverage?

We are experiencing the opposite oddly. I’ve noticed our adjusters have less to do and are much more engaged. As a result we’ve had more limits offers on cases that made all of our jaws drop. Strange times.

Commenting to follow this.

Yes. We just had a case settle against a large car manufacturer, and they used COVID and how it would take so long to get to trial after COVID that they put a low-ball offer. Mind you, our client was catastrophically injured. They also insinuated how our client's health (at a long-term care facility) may be jeopardized with COVID, and used it as leverage.

😤 wow
