I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Hi #Urgent
Got the Offer Letter from Citi upon accepting I also received the Background Verification (BGV) mail.
which says I need to provide the relieving letter/experience letter. But the thing is I have not received it (it will take some time). I only have resignation acceptance letter.
Can we still proceed for bgv process and tell Citi that I will provide the relieving letter later on when i get it.

McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

Subscribed. I feel I am killing myself to try and make M this year and I often wonder why (definitely not a lifetime consultant)
Not sure if exit opportunities are that different for second or third year SC vs a first year M, but if you ever want to boomerang it's good to level up. Also, the bump in salary gives you more negotiating power when you do leave
Apparently your post has caused 5 others...I thought it was a decent question. There's lots on here right in that SC to M sweet spot.
Haha. Why are people such haters. I just want to learn!
U get to be cashier at McDonald's instead of flipping burgers if u exit as a manager 😜. Seriously though, just having a title manager helps get attention of potential recruiters and gives u leverage to apply to VP level positions
Promotions to Manager are selective so it signals the marketplace your worth to a consulting firm. Second, it indicates you have the ability to Manage and lead a team. Sure you did that as an SC too but the title change validates it. That said titles are still subjective and it's your experience and story that counts when you try to exit.
