As more and more companies institute a work from home policy, I think it will gradually become the norm. As a 28 year old man who wants to settle down soon, which city would you recommend I look into, assuming me and my partner can work from home? I work in Cybersecurity so would prefer to be closer to the jobs in my field without having to live in the same city.

My job went remote-first (office available but no requirement) in 2021 then I changed jobs into a fully remote role this year.

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote.
