Are the big gov consulting/contracting firms still hiring during the gov shut down (e.g. Leidos, Booz, GDIT, etc.)? Or has hiring been paused/frozen? I’m still seeing positions posted atm….What I’m reading suggests the shutdown might go through the rest of the year at least….

Recently got an offer from PharmEasy for the Data Analyst role with a 30 % hike from current salary at Deloitte, where CTC is 8.1 LPA
But will have to pay in the training cost along with the joining bonus which comes up to 2.4 lac. Really confused what to do as I've been on bench for 3 months now with no learning opportunity and don't know what kind of projects I might get ahead and what about the wlb as compared to PharmEasy.

The offer is:
Base: $166,500
Target Bonus: 10% ($16,650)
RSU: 120k total (30k/yr)

Thoughts on offer? Should I counter?

Additionally there's a yearly target RSU bonus about equal to the cash bonus. Thoughts? 4.5 YOE

Looking to choose a place to fly out of for getting my PPL. Would you recommend a program based out of a controlled or uncontrolled airport? It sounds like you get more flight time out of the uncontrolled (less busy), but less experience liaising with ATC. Both options are comparable cost-wise and about the same distance from my house.
