Are there any good alternatives to Law360 for updates in the legal field. I love the newsletter but everything is behind an incredibly expensive paywall. Since I'm not officially in legal anymore, it's wholly cost prohibitive. Any suggestions?

Are you looking for major docket changes, opinions on trends and rulings, or something else? I’m in the expert services space and really like law.com’s Radar, which has free or paid options. I primarily care about trends in the types of cases by new complaints or rulings and also the law firms/industries involved in certain types of cases.

Not necessarily docket updates but everything else seems to be what I need. I'm looking for trends, regulatory updates, rulings, and even thought leadership, especially in the cyber law area

Would you take a freelance gig that would be a promotion (with potential to join full time) with a smaller company whose values you really agree with, OR a full-time offer for a lateral move with a larger company with teammates you know and trust? Of course factoring in all the nuances of covid. TIA!

Got waitlisted at NYU. Any insight on the likelihood of getting in, or how much sending in additional materials (updated test score, additional essay/rec letter) will increase my chances? A couple falls in love and moves in together. One person is wealthy and the other is not. The wealthy partner pays for most of the basic home necessities. Does the wealthy partner have rights to reimbursement? They never married.

Really curious about elder law. Any practicing attorneys willing to talk or share their experience?

Had a consultation with an attorney for legal advice on my options to address a late filing for a taxable event. They recommended me two options: file or not file. In order to help him with the consultation he asked to send him additional information like bank statements and work authorization which I sent.

If I decide to not file or go to another attorney if the fees are high, can the attorney still report me or whistle blow me to the tax authorities?
