As an Auditor currently working in a big 4 accounting firm, trying to move to the finance industry. Please what are the chances of getting an IB, corporate finance , asset management company? Or would I advise I move internally within the big 4 before looking outside. Please I need advise. I am currently a qualified chartered account and recently got CFA scholarships. I am just tired of auditing.

Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.

My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.
