As someone who has always worked at large shops that utilize rare cards, pretty interested at the different pricing models floating around. However, at the end of the day, whether a fixed rate, deliverable-based, etc - doesn’t it all boil down to how much you need to pay the people working on the assignment? Meaning it’s all kind of the same to a degree?

I’m an audience of one, but deliverables make it easier to scope for my team. I don’t have pressure to staff more than what’s responsible or make our margin plus a holding company’s.
Creative teams and resource managers have a habit of overstaffing themselves on large accounts and ballooning costs when sometimes all we need are a few banners, OOH, or social ideas. I don’t need 500 hours of a CD for organic social for xyz amount of deliverables.
The model makes it easier for me since resource managers have to look at the deliverables with a more realistic eye.
