I have attended two interviews with cognizant for the same role. From that, I have got an offer letter from one panel and I am discussing with the HR about to make some salary revise.
Unfortunately, the second panel also processed my profile and it got short listed and they come back for a talk to process the offer letter. Now the first panel HR called me and asked about the second process why it got happened.
Does this results in any drawback for the offer letter i have got already?

Had an Excel assessment yesterday as the second to last step in an interview process. I was using a new computer and long story short, had some technical difficulties (or maybe just my own incompetence under stress) and ended up only getting through half of the test. I’m on the fence about emailing my recruiter and explaining the circumstances/asking for a retest. Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

I am an experienced hire. My case might just take you by surprise. I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike. This has effectively doubled my salary in the last one year bt still I am confused to switch or not considering the amazing bonuses GDS payed off today. Please suggest.
