Asking for a friend, he has two contract offers in hand. PNC and Comcast, while PNC seems to be a long term contract it’s away from his home and he would need to travel a lot whereas Comcast is nearby comparatively but the contract seems to be only for 9 to 12 months. Will there be any possibility for Comcast contract extension in the future depending on market conditions, any such experiences with Comcast will be really helpfu. TIA

Can anyone suggest if I can make a rental contract with my parents on a 1rupee stamp duty letter for below 1 lakh? If so, can I directly submit that to income tax department while filing the return for claiming refund or should I be disclosing in Deloitte Portal for last FY 2022. I have maybe 10-15 lit cases that I'm "responsible" for. Some of them are tar babies that I know the partners and my colleagues would hate taking over, but I don't think I'm willing to wait for resolution on them either. Thoughts?

$325k TC at MBB in a non-generalist (still partner track) path. Love the intellectual variety, smart colleagues, flexibility (WFH has let me take occasional 2-3h windows during the day for personal activities) - can’t take the stress anymore. Are WFH industry roles at the $300-500k TC level really that much less stressful?
