Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Honestly, I hate asking for a raise. Every single time I get so nervous because talking about money can be so uncomfortable. However, if you don't bring it up you may never get one. I always go in confidently and tell them what I need and show them all the ways in which I have been an asset to the company. Every single time I have gotten some sort of raise.
Do some power posing before!! Also don’t forget the literal worst case scenario is they say no and then you’re where you are right now! So no harm in trying to
It’s a few steps
1. set a goal and research what people are making that hold your level of responsibility.
2. Analyze what’s working for you and against you. List what you were hired to do and what you do now (which is longer) and think about what the other person cares about and thinks about you. Focus on what you can control.
3. Differentiate - write out what you bring that no one else does
4. Have the conversation and keep it focused on “wages are tied to responsibility” and show them your accomplishments.
5. After the convo reflect on what went well and what you might do differently next time.
Remember two things-
* Negotiation is conditional problem solving. Set up the right conditions to solve a problem together
*You. Can. Do. This.

I think making a good case for a raise makes it much easier for me personally. So like writing out all of the reasons why it’s justified and properly will compensate my skills - having a good talk track and justification is huge
