Asking for graduating senior: Received an offer from KPMG for Associate position in Advisory. $85K starting salary and $7.5K signing bonus. Will be for the Tysons/McLean location. Is this offer up to par for the area and going rate for salary, bonus, etc? Should this be negotiated at all? Should a work at home reimbursement/stipend be requested for home office purchase? Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?
