Asking for more comp. I have the option to ask for more salary or a one time bonus. Not sure how long I’ll be at the company, but given the labor market it makes sense to stay. Not as easy to job hop anymore. Should I opt to get more salary or the one time bonus? I already got a raise on top before this, but my skills in the market have become more valuable so I think I should be compensated for it.

Senior associate with 3 YOE at 130k TC (115 base). Final interview for a PM role at a small company coming up, is 140k base too much to ask for? The opportunity cost of leaving my connections, fast progression, brand recognition, etc makes it hard to justify leaving for less.
